Scanning To Save Space

Go back a few years. As in 1999! In preparation for working at the coast and enjoying all that cruising has to offer- I cut out pages… upon pages… of articles which could create a resource for our effort.

Cut from magazines, and put in a huge zip bag, I planned to scan them. Last month I pulled the article bag from storage and brought an efficient Epson GT-S50 scanner on board the boat.

The scanner had been part of my real estate office’s equipment. I’d forgotten just how fast it can scan multiple pages. Golly Hannah- I’ll also be able to scan current real estate oriented document folders too.

Boat Lesson Learned: I should have brought the scanner on board much sooner. Once the large volume of material has been digitized, any needed paper copies can return to storage. AND…Yacht A Fun’s port side waterline will come up a bit!
