So you can have a Beary Merry (vs. Very Merry ) Christmas when in town. Santa’s house has chemical snow blown down on weekend evenings. For today’s sledding though, ice was ground and air blown to create snow.

Kids got to play in it. Kids of all ages were able to sled down the ramps. (Of course attorney waivers had to signed, it’s an American Christmas thing.) The crowd was huge from 1PM through 3PM and began to taper off.

There were multiple activities for the kids to do. Small slices of pizza were on sale for $2 and beverages were a dollar.

Getting off our catamaran to walk just two blocks for participation is another reason New Bern is a fine place for boating Snow Birds to consider wintering here.
