The mouse however had chewed the cuff of one of the gloves. It was either toss the pair or hope for a skilled sewing person do a “REpair”.
Fortunately I met the owner of Mon Alterations who was willing to tackle the task.

The finished product speaks for itself. If you are traveling to New Bern and have a need to alter or repair a valuable item, give them a try.
West Marine sells the non-Gortex version for $55 a pair. REpair was a better deal!
