Cooking stew on a drizzly day- Nov 25th 2014

A tarp has been put in place awaiting Chris, from City Boatyard, to come and install the parts needed for our Gemini catamaran’s Westebeke engine to fire up.

Meanwhile, I’ve started a stew. The Harris Teeter experience of yesterday was an inspiration for a stew to warm up on a drizzly winter afternoon.

I’m a fan of All-Clad cookware. The stainless steel is ideal for a boat. The heft of the cookware allows it to heat evenly. Their line includes pots, skillets, and woks which are right-sized for the modest sized two burner stoves on the majority of small yachts.

While the stew cooks, we are gently pitching up and down on Yacht A Fun, and Diann is reviewing a Gemini Catamaran group resource on Yahoo.

Chris, from The City Boatyard showed up and got our engine running again.
